At College Success NYC, we work one-on-one with students and applicants at different stages, from high school through graduate programs. That might mean helping a student choose the right classes and activities early on, or helping an applicant shape a clear, compelling story for college or grad school.
There’s no single formula that works for everyone. At CSNYC, we cater to the growth and pace of each student. Some students need long-term planning, others need help pulling everything together at the right time. Our work adjusts to that. We don’t use preset packages or put limits on applications — just straightforward, hourly support based on what makes sense for the student we’re working with.
Undergraduate and Graduate Level Advising
Our advising is focused on execution as much as strategy. We help students and applicants break down what can feel like a complicated process into clear, manageable steps.
For undergraduate applicants, that usually means making smart choices early on so there’s no scrambling later. That includes selecting courses that build a strong academic foundation, getting involved in meaningful extracurriculars, and starting to explore interests in a focused way. Early decisions can shape the entire trajectory of a college application, so the goal is to be intentional from the start rather than reactive later on.
For graduate applicants, the focus shifts to refining what’s already there—highlighting relevant experience, clarifying goals, and ensuring each part of the application works together. We focus on connecting academic, professional, and personal experiences into a cohesive narrative that clearly supports the intended path. We make sure everything has a clear purpose. That way, the application comes across as intentional and well thought out.
About the Founder: Lindsay Francis
As the founder of College Success NYC, Lindsay brings over 7 years of experience helping students navigate the complexities of the college admissions process. She advises students in all skill levels and her unique philosophy caters to the “whole student.” Lindsay launched CSNYC to give students a dynamic perspective on finding a college that is the best fit. She empowers students to achieve their academic and career goals, and she knows that starts with the right college.
